Soil sieves (or riddles) are useful for sifting out large lumps from soil, leaf mould and compost, to leave you with a fine material suitable for sowing seeds like salad leaves and sunflowers, or for potting mixes. Making your own compost and leaf mould is easy and will save on trips to the tip
A garden sieve can also sometimes be useful for other jobs around your garden, from washing gravel or a hydroponic or aquaponic medium, to washing home grown produce to remove the worst of the soil before you take it indoors. Smaller mesh sieves can also be used for separating seeds from chaff if you want to save your own seeds for culinary use, or to sow in your garden next year.

Prefer to pick up your order?
We now offer local pickup from 14 Loftus Street, Bowral, NSW 2576 from Mon-Fri 8am - 4pm. After payment and order confirmation, we will get your order ready and send you another email indicating it is ready for collection. Please reply to the email with an ETA so that we can ensure everything is 100% ready to pick up seamlessly.
Local Pickup is not available on Weekends, or NSW Public Holidays
Missed Deliveries & Returns
If your order is returned to us (due to incorrect address, missed delivery, or non-collection), a small re-shipping fee may apply. Once your parcel leaves our hands, the courier takes over but we’ll always try our best to help if anything goes off-track. Please note, courier delays are outside our control, but if we’ve made an error on our end, we’ll make it right.
