The Esschert Design Beechwood Pot Tamper is an essential tool when potting and planting. Tampers are designed to gently firm the soil in your pots, and create a stable base for your plants to grow, which in turn helps to avoid soil or seeds from being washed away during watering or other gardening activities, ultimately promoting healthy plant growth.

This tamper is made from high-quality Beech wood, and has a diameter of 8cm, making it suitable for use in a variety of pot sizes.

Using a tamper is easy, simply hold the tamper with one hand and press it down into the soil with the other, applying a gentle and even amount of pressure. Repeat this process until the soil is sufficiently firm, ensuring your plants have the necessary support they need to thrive.
