The kit is suitable for outdoor meals (picnic, bivouacs, camping, etc.) as well as for meals on the go at the office. Beautifully designed in collaboration with the designer Franck Fontana, the Picnic + set is a collection of clever and sustainable accessories for comfortable meals on the go.

The set includes a fork & spoon inserts that are made of stainless steel, so they are pleasant to eat with as well as being sturdy and hygienic (compatible with wooden handled N°08 knives, equipped with the Virobloc safety ring marketed since 2000).

Set Includes:

• A No. 08 knife
• Two inserts, a fork and a spoon, that attach to the No. 08 knife
• A microfibre towel case that is both a storage and cleaning device

To attach the fork or spoon:
With the knife blade closed, open the rotating ring
Attach the fork or spoon onto the ring using the small nicks
Close the ring

ABOUT OPINEL:

Victor-Amédée Opinel who was a peddler, learnt how to forge nails during his travels. He set up his first blacksmith workshop in Gevoudaz, a hamlet part of Albiez-le-Vieux, near Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. His son Daniel later worked alongside his father and grew to became a renowned “edgetool maker”(maker of sharp tools) among farmers who came from afar to buy his billhooks or sickles...

Fast forward to the new millenium and the Opinel pocket knife is recognised as one of the 999 most successful designs of all times by a jury of international designers in the beautiful three-volume set of the "Phaidon Design Classics"
