The N°10 Shiori is the result of a partnership between Opinel, Nigara Hamono, famous for his Japanese Tsugaru Uchihamono cutlery, and Atsuko Totsuka-Blanchet, founder of Shiori, who selects objects made by Japanese craftspeople that are also suited to French everyday life. This exceptional knife's blade is crafted from VG7, a multilayer stainless steel. The hand hammering process is called Tsuchime and creates an irregular surface that prevents wet food from sticking to the blade. It ensures an exact cut and a cutting edge that will last. The handle is made of flamed maple, a luminous, shimmering wood. The butt has a matte black finish.
