OPINEL N°8 Outdoor Blue (inbuilt Whistle, Shackle key, Lanyard)
Ideal for sporting activities such as mountaineering, paragliding, trekking, canyoning, pot holing, sailing and other nautical activities.
The Classic Opinel knife, updated for modern outdoor usage. The handle is Fibreglass reinforced Polyamide, to withstand water immersion, and has a built in Pea-less whistle.
The Blade is a thicker and stronger 2.5mm Stainless steel, with a part serated blade, and it features the classic Opinel Virobloc locking system. It also has a built in shackle key suitable for shackles from 4mm-10mm.

Victor-Amédée Opinel who was a peddler, learnt how to forge nails during his travels. He set up his first blacksmith workshop in Gevoudaz, a hamlet part of Albiez-le-Vieux, near Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. His son Daniel later worked alongside his father and grew to became a renowned “edgetool maker”(maker of sharp tools) among farmers who came from afar to buy his billhooks or sickles...
Fast forward to the new millenium and the Opinel pocket knife is recognised as one of the 999 most successful designs of all times by a jury of international designers in the beautiful three-volume set of the "Phaidon Design Classics"

Pickup is available from 14 Loftus Street, Bowral NSW 2576, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM.
Once your order is ready, we'll email you. Please reply with your expected pickup time so we can have everything ready.
Pickup is unavailable on weekends and NSW public holidays.

If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, missed delivery or non-collection, a re-shipping fee may apply.
