Peugeot is one of the most iconic French brands.

The pepper grinder was invented by Peugeot of France in 1842. Earlier versions of pepper mills were based on a mortar and pestle design. The pepper grinder allowed for a less labour intensive way to crack the peppercorns.

Peugeot salt mills and pepper mills appear on the greatest chefs’ tables and Peugeot Salt & Pepper Mills are the benchmark against which all mills are measured today simply because of their outstanding quality.
