The rain cover from The Bastard ensures that your kamado is protected from wind and weather. However, due to the sealing effect of the rain cover in combination with possible condensation caused by rising damp, there is a chance of mold forming in or on the kamado. This possible condensation can cause prints, stains and / or mold on the bamboo parts of your kamado. The Bastard cause. Therefore, we recommend that you remove any side tables from your kamado before the kamado is covered (long-term) by the rain cover.
Make sure the kamado is thoroughly dry before putting the rain cover over it. The side tables are best stored in a dry place. We also recommend airing the kamado every now and then by taking the cover off for a while when the weather is nice. This way your The Bastard beautiful as long as possible!
Note: carefully remove the cover from the kamado to avoid any damage.

We now offer local pickup from 14 Loftus Street, Bowral, NSW 2576 from Mon-Fri 8am - 4pm.
After payment and order confirmation, we will get your order ready and send you another email indicating it is ready for collection.
Please reply to the email with an ETA so that we can ensure everything is 100% ready to pick up seamlessly.
Local Pickup is not available on Weekends, or NSW Public Holidays
Missed Deliveries & Returns
If your order is returned to us (due to incorrect address, missed delivery, or non-collection), a small re-shipping fee may apply.
Once your parcel leaves our hands, the courier takes over — but we’ll always try our best to help if anything goes off-track.
Please note, courier delays are outside our control, but if we’ve made an error on our end, we’ll make it right.
