How Long Does it Last? Longevity depends on how it is handled and where it is used. Exposure to the elements such as the sun, UV light, and heat will cause color fading and shorten lifetimes of natural products.

Is The Moss Alive? No, although SuperMoss try to make the most lifelike preserved mosses available, SuperMoss mosses have been dried and/or preserved. They are not alive.

Is It Safe Around Pets? SuperMoss moss products are historically safe around large pets and their natural products have no issues whatsoever. For pets in terrariums, we recommend the non-preserved and naturally dried mosses. The only product that we specifically do not recommend for pets is Wolfen Lichen
