Founded by Susan Williams-Ellis and her husband Euan Cooper-Willis in 1960, Portmeirion continues to produce high quality products with timeless style and innovative design.

First introduced in 1972, the Botanic Garden range celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. This distinctive range features the iconic laurel leaf border with a range of beautiful blooming flowers. Susan Williams-Ellis wanted the Botanic Garden range to give the impression of a beautiful English garden when laid out on a table. Botanic Garden took the world by storm when first introduced and after 50 years is still bought, used and loved by customers all over the world.
