Botanical name - Brassica rapa var. chinensis

MASTER GARDENER by Mr Fothergills

This non-heading green, a member of the cabbage family, is a compact variety that produces 15-20cm meaty, spoon shaped leaves. It is a staple for Asian cooking. Excellent for stir fries, soups and raw in salads. Bolt resistant variety.Pak Choi Shuku F1 has green-white stems and the baby leaves,  can be used in mixed salads.

Care Tips:

Sow 5mm (¼”) deep in rows 40cm (15”) apart. Keep soil moist, particularly during dry months. Thin to 30cm (1’) between plants. Pak Choi prefers a warm, sunny position and well-drained soil. Feed regularly to support vigorous growth. Seedlings emerge 6-10 days.

We now offer local pickup from 14 Loftus Street, Bowral, NSW 2576 from Mon-Fri 8am - 4pm.
After payment and order confirmation, we will get your order ready and send you another email indicating it is ready for collection.
Please reply to the email with an ETA so that we can ensure everything is 100% ready to pick up seamlessly.

If your order is returned to us (due to incorrect address, missed delivery, or non-collection), a small re-shipping fee may apply.
Once your parcel leaves our hands, the courier takes over — but we’ll always try our best to help if anything goes off-track.
