 REVIEWS:

Awesome, Get It.

Bottom Line:The power of a mini fire tornado harnessed to cook food and charge devices. It works. I used dry hickory chips as the fuel. It fired up and grilled fast.

Break Down:
Cooking: I managed to grill 2 Beyond Meat burgers and mushrooms in under 10 minutes and heat water for hot cocoa in a few more minutes (with cap on the kettle).

Portability:
I feel it is light weight but it isn't the lightest stove out there. It more than makes up for this with the functions and control options. Without the grill it is extremely portable as it all fits inside the kettle. The grill would have to be carried elsewhere but can fit in a backpack along with the stove/kettle.

Charging Hub:
It charges a Kindle over time so it works ad advertised.

Clean up:
I scrubbed the grill with a rough side of a sponge. The grate I did my best to wipe it down but I feel it is permanently black now...no biggy, I'll try to clean it up more later. Towel dry immediately. A bottle dry brush of some kind would be advised to gently clean the inside of the stove. The damp cloth/sponge (not drenched) as suggested to clean up the debris.

I can see truckers using this for home cooked meals on the road. Backpackers for sure.

The cons: The cover for the grill is cheap and could be better. I'd go as far as to call this cover a POS. The grill itself is perfect.

Thoroughly impressed.

I had been looking at the Biolite stove for a while but when I saw the campstove 2 come out, I had to jump on it. Glad I went with the bundle as well and also got the French press. Got it within a week and I have really enjoyed it today. It's a little tricky to get started but the wood I had available in my yard was less than ideal. I'm sure it will get easier with practice. Once it's going though it stays lit and is easy enough to keep the fire going. I had the day off so I made myself a delicious pot of coffee this morning. For lunch I tried the grill out on a pork chop just using some maple sticks from my backyard. You do have to turn it a bit so it cooks evenly but with the grease drip, I could keep the fan on low and it cooked to perfection in about 15-20 minutes and with the right wood, you don't really have to add much to keep it going. The smokey flavor was out of this world! Not sure I can go back to cooking meat on gas grills or ovens unless I'm cooking for more than three. Can't wait to take it kayaking and camping. Go with the bundle if you can afford it and you will have no regrets!
